Pivoting to Boost Online Egagement During Covid

Over the last 6 months we've all had to change our focus and evaluate how to make an impact connecting to our clients and prospects - from home. Here at Fedmine, we used to attend events, workshops, conferences and industry days to stay connected, engaged and form new relationships. We relied on the in-person experience to showcase our platform and meet our peers and colleagues. All of that changed in March, 2020 and like everyone, we've had to pivot to ensure that we don't miss a beat with our outbound marketing.
If we've learned anything since the pandemic, it's really how much we took for granted when being able to go out and participate at our in-person events. Aside from being a fun change of daily office life - these events would shape our business for the year. We've had to modify and lean to more outbound email marketing and have turned to webinars to stay connected to the government contracting community.
For some time we've had Lunch + Learn webinars with our clients on a monthly or quarterly basis. These webinars focus on continuing education and review any new features to the platform. We've always had joint webinars here and there - but since the pandemic we've made a consistent effort to have one scheduled monthly or bimonthly.
In case you've missed them, I wanted to link to our recent webinars so you can check them out.
In March we started a 3 part joint webinar series with Maria Panichelli from Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel. Maria is a Partner, and Chair for the Government Contracting Practice Group at Obermayer. This webinar series has been focused on providing the legal viewpoint of various government contracting topics. I've linked the 3 webinar pages that include each of the presentations and slides below:
- Federal Construction Contracts: Key FAR Clauses & Concepts
- Success in Federal Subcontracting
- Asserting & Defending Bid Protests
This month we were happy to take part in a special procurement series put on by the Maryland Women's Business Center (MWBC). Fedmine VP of Business Development, Archisha Mehan, presented in the first webinar of the series. The focus was on Finding Federal Contracting Opportunities. Attendance was sold out with a waiting list to join! The MWBC wanted to concentrate on outreach to small businesses during this uncertain time to educate and spark interest in developing business with government contracting. This webinar presentation slides are linked below:

With FY21 upon us, and working-from-home life not going anywhere anytime soon - we're planning the months ahead. Stay tuned for more from Fedmine with interesting joint webinars and special guests bloggers this Fall.
Do you have an idea for a webinar topic or partnership that you'd like to see us cover?
Email me! I'd love to hear your thoughts 😀
